As the 2015-16 school year comes to a close BC Agriculture in the Classroom is proud to report on our program - Spuds in Tubs! Over 80 new teachers were involved in our workshops last fall to prepare their classrooms for Spuds in Tubs. This year  360 classrooms, a total of over 9,000 students and their teachers, learned about the importance of soil, sunlight and water in the growing process. They grew little warba potatoes in tubs of soil from March to June, in their classroom and school courtyard.
